Masters 2021 to be Conducted with Limited Attendance

By pitchhigh | Jan 29, 2021

Fred Ridley, President of Augusta National Golf Club, announced today that the club intends to limit attendance at the 85th Masters, scheduled for April 5-11, 2021. The tournament will be held to health and security standards similar to those previously established in November 2020. With these protocols in place, efforts are being made to include a limited number of users, as long as it can be done safely.

“After the successful completion of the Master's tournament last November with only essential staff, we are confident that we can invite a limited number of sponsors to Augusta National in April,” said Ridley. “As with the November Masters program, we will implement practices and policies that will protect the health and safety of all attendees. There is nothing more important and will not be more important than the well-being of everyone involved. While we are disappointed that we will not be able to accommodate a full group of clients this year. , We will continue our efforts to ensure the arrival of everyone who has bought Augusta National tickets in 2022, provided conditions improve. "

Additionally, Ridley announced that the club intends to hold the Augusta Women's Amateur National Finals and the Drive, Chip, and Putt Finals as scheduled. Both competitions are also intended to host a small number of sponsors.
Augusta National is in the process of contacting all registered ticket holders, and refunds will be issued to customers who have not been selected to attend.
