The amazing Jadeja MVP rating was 97.3, second only to Muttiah Muralitharan from Sri Lanka, which made him the Most Valuable Player in test format in the 21st century.
"It might be surprising to see Ravindra Jadeja, one of the best all-rounder in India, as number one in India. After all, it is not always an automatic choice in the test team. However, when he plays, he is chosen as a frontline player and has batted number 6, Which contributes to the high turnout in the game, " Cricviz’s Freddie Wilde told Wisden.
"The 31-year-old’s bowling average of 24.62 is better than Shane Watson and his 35.26 batting average is also better than Shane Watson." The average differential of 10.62 between batting and bowling is the second-best in this century scoring more than 1,000 points and taking 150 wickets. He added that it is an all-rounder vehicle of the highest quality.
After making its debut in 2009, Jadeja represented India in 49 Tests, 165 ODIs, and 49 T20Is so far.
The 31-year-old’s bowling average of 24.62 was better than Shane Warren and his 35.26 average batting was better than Shane Watson.
Earlier on Monday, Jadeja was trending on Twitter with fans participating in an online discussion on "Who's the Best", Ravindra Jadeja, or Krunal Pandya.
However, the comparison between the two seemed completely unfair given that Jadeja is a seasoned activist and Krunal Pandya made its debut in India in 2018 and only appeared in 18 T20I so far.
