Willian joined Chelsea from Angie Makhachkala in 2013 and has played more than 300 games for the club, winning two Premier League titles. The 32-year-old is linked to a move to Arsenal in town.

Brazilian midfielder Willian has confirmed he will leave Chelsea after seven "wonderful" years at Stamford Bridge.

The 32-year-old, linked with a move to Arsenal across town, posted a farewell message to the club's fans on Twitter.

It is time to move forward. I would definitely miss my team-mates, ”he said.“ I go with my head held high, making sure that I won titles here and always did my best in a Chelsea shirt. ”

Willian, who started his football career with Corinthians in Sao Paulo, joined Chelsea from Angie Makhachkala in 2013 and has played more than 300 matches for the club and won two Premier League titles.

His contract expired this summer and he failed to reach a long-term deal with the club.

He said, "In August 2013, when I received an offer from Chelsea, I was convinced that this was where I should be playing."

"Today I'm sure it was the better decision. There were a lot of happy moments, some sad moments, and there were titles and they were always intense."

Spanish midfielder Pedro also announced that he would leave the club on Sunday after five years.
