SHIKHAR DHAWAN'S AMAZING TATTOOS

Shikhar Dhawan is an Indian cricketer. He is a left-handed opening batsman and occasionally plays right-arm off-break bowler. Dhawan plays for Delhi in domestic cricket and for the Delhi Capitals team in the IPL (Indian Premier League). Shikhar Dhawan has earlier played for the Indian Under-17 and Under-19 teams before he made his debut for Delhi in the year 2004.

Shikhar Dhawan is one of the Indian cricketers who sports tattoos on many parts of his body, especially on his biceps. He loves tattoos and is addicted to getting inked, and so does his half-Bengali wife. Shikhar Dhawan got his first tattoo at the age of 15. He got the tattoo without telling his parents.

1. His Religious Tattoos

Shikhar Dhawan got the figures from the Indian mythology including Arjuna (the character from Mahabharat that signifies determination). He also got the tattoos of Lord Shiva and Baba Deep Singh inked on the elbow of his right arm.

2. The Carpe Diem Tattoo

Shikhar Dhawan got the tattoo of a ‘Carpe Diem’ inked on the back of his left arm. The tattoo symbolizes his urge to make the most of his time at present and not worry about what will happen in the future.

Shikhar Dhawan really likes cool tribal designs and that's why he got a tribal design inked on his right shoulder and another one on his back.

4.The Bird Tattoo

Shikhar Dhawan got the tattoo of a bird along with a leafless tree inked on his left calf.

5.Tattoo of His Wife’s Name

Shikhar Dhawan got the tattoo of his wife’s name, Ayesha inked on his left wrist.  This tattoo shows his gesture of love for his wife. Shikhar Dhawan married his wife Ayesha Mukherjee the year 2012.
