IPL Auction 2021: The LIVE IPL Auction 2021 will see a total of 292 cricketers in Chennai on February 18, 2021, the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry confirmed in a statement on Thursday. Additionally, there are eight IPL franchises: MI, CSK, RCB, RR, DC, SRH, KKR, and KXIP Ready-to-Shower Combos 196.6 Cr when purchasing 61 cricketers from IPL auctions.
In particular, 1,114 cricketers were initially registered at the auction. The final list was removed after all eight franchises provided a shortlist of players, and now, the list includes 164 Indian players, 125 foreign players, and three partner countries.

- Nour Ahmed, aged 16, is the youngest player in the auction group. Ahmed, who recently appeared on BBL for Melbourne Renegades, listed his base price at INR 20 lakhs.
- The youngest Indian in the group is Khrievitso Kense, the unselected player from Nagaland, who impressed IPL Scouts during Syed Mushtaq Ali Cup. Kense is also in the lower base price range of INR 20 lakhs.
- The oldest player to appear at auction is 42-year-old Nayan Dushi, son of former Indian spinner Dilip Dushi. Nayan, who lives in England, has previously liked Saurashtra and has listed his base price at 20,000 INR.
- Arjun Tendulkar, son of Sachin Tendulkar who recently joined the Mumbai T20 team, is on the shortlist. The left-arm pacemaker is available at a base price of Rs 20 lakh.
- Sadiq al-Kirmani, son of former India wicket-keeper Syed Kermani, will also be at the auction. Sadiq, 31, is also a wicket-keeper/batsman and is on the list of 20 lakhs.
- Former Indian fast shooter Sreesanth, who recently returned to the game after being suspended for five years, is not on the final list. Sreesanth set his base price at 75,000 INR (103,000 USD), after playing the Syed Mushtaq Ali Cup for Kerala state in January.
- Ali Khan (USA), Sandeep Lamishan (Nepal), and Karthik Miyapan (United Arab Emirates) are the three players who participated in this score.
- The base rate is 2 crore Indian rupees - 10 players in Fray: 2 crores are the highest reserve price and 2 Indian players - Harbhajan Singh and Kedar Jadhav - and eight foreign players - Glenn Maxwell, Steve Smith, Shakib Al Hassan, Moein Ali, Sam Chosen Billings William Plunkett Jason Roy, and Mark Wood hold the highest position.
- Cheteshwar Pujara is available at a base price of Rs 50 lakh - Indian Test Specialist Cheteshwar Pujara is also shortlisted for IPL Auction 2021, Batsman Saurashtra will be available at a base price of Rs 50 lakh. Pujara last played IPL in 2014. Pujara has played Kings XI Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Royal Challengers Bangalore in the past.
- Australian batsman Shawn Marsh, multi-level New Zealand batsman Corey Anderson, and former South African speed bowler Morn Murkill are among 17 new names to be included from 292 players shortlisted for the 2021 IPL auction.
- Meanwhile, Kings XI Punjab enters with the highest bag available at INR 53.2 Cr for the nine vacant slots. On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore has a maximum number of vacancies (11) and a bag of INR 34.9 Cr to fill. The team led by Virat Kohli retained only 12 players (and traded two) from their current group. Rajasthan Royals also has a bag available worth INR 37.85 for the nine available spaces that they are looking to fill.

- On a note to the franchises, the IPL auction 2021 set to begin at 1500 IST, will begin with international players whose names will come based on their specialty: hitters, off-road hitters, hitters, fast shooters, and spin bowlers. The same arrangement will be followed for unlimited players.
