The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed on Wednesday that the stadiums will allow more than 25 percent of the crowd capacity for the upcoming 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL) season. In Maharashtra: 55 league matches in three stadiums in Mumbai and 15 matches in Pune.
The IPL 2022 tournament will resume with the Chennai Super Kings match against Kolkata Knight Riders on March 26 at Wankidi Stadium. The match will be a momentous occasion as the 15th league of the mass championship will welcome the return of the fans to the stadium after a short pause due to the epidemic.
