IPL 2022 : BCCI allow only 25 percent capacity in stadiums

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed on Wednesday that the stadiums will allow more than 25 percent of the crowd capacity for the upcoming 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL) season. In Maharashtra: 55 league matches in three stadiums in Mumbai and 15 matches in Pune.

The IPL 2022 tournament will resume with the Chennai Super Kings match against Kolkata Knight Riders on March 26 at Wankidi Stadium. The match will be a momentous occasion as the 15th league of the mass championship will welcome the return of the fans to the stadium after a short pause due to the epidemic.

Indian Premier League (IPL) March 23, 2022

Enthusiastic cricket fans are ready to watch exciting matches of their favorite players in the most awaited cricket tournament in history. Fans will be able to purchase tickets for the league stage of the tournament starting March 23 at 12 noon on the official website.

Matches will be played in stadiums in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, and Pune, with 25% of the audience attending as per COVID-19 protocol. In total, there will be 20 matches at Wankhede Stadium and DY Patel Stadium, and 15 each at Brabourne and MCA International Stadium, Pune.
