Each Indian cricketer pays Rs. 15 Lakhs, Rs. 6 lakhs, and Rs. 3 lakhs for each test, ODI and T20I played respectively. Now, players holding A+ grade contract earn a salary of Rs. 7 million rupees every year except for the same. In this sense, given that both Bumrah and Kohli are A + players and the former has played most of the games in this calendar year, he is the one who made the most money.

What if Virat Played?

Had Virat Kohli played the 2020 Final, Boxing Day Test against Australia won by India, he would have emerged as India's best cricketer ahead of Jasprit Bumrah. But due to paternity leave, this was not possible.

Rohit Sharma is not in the top five
