KL Rahul or Kannur Lokesh Rahul is a player of the Indian cricket team for a while now. The famous cricketer has earned a huge fan following in a very short period of time with his superb cricket skills. 

KL Rahul has earlier revealed his love for tattoos with his several tattoos. He even told the press that he has drawn the inspiration from Virat Kohli’s style statements. He is addicted to tattoos and he really wants to get more tattoos on various other parts of his body. 

He has received praise for his batting skills and his calm attitude both on and off the field. His tattoos cover most of his arms and look terrific on him. You must be feeling curious about the meaning behind all of his tattoos, so let's talk about each of his tattoo and the meaning it holds in his life.

1. Lighthouse on his left forearm

KL Rahul has got a lighthouse tattoo. This tattoo is really special to him as it reminds him of his home. He grew up in the city of Mangaluru by the beach before shifting to Bengaluru to pursue his cricket dream. Now looking at this precious tattoo on his arm always reminds him of those memories he made back at home by the beach in Mangaluru.

2.A Key with ram horns

This key was customized to have ram horns on it because Rahul's zodiac sign is Aries. This key goes around his forearm and the meaning behind it is to be open to learning new things and breaking any barriers with new experiences.

3.A Clock Tattoo on his bicep

KL Rahul got a clock tattoo on the inside of his left bicep with the hands of the clock at 11 o’clock. This is because he was born at 11 o’clock and that's why the clock hands are tattooed at this position.

There is the tattoo of the famous Latin phrase “Veni, Vidi, vici”, which means “come, see, conquer” inked around the clock. This phrase signifies KL Rahul’s time as a cricketer of the Indian Team has begun and he will conquer the world with his bat.

5. Deshi Basara wrote on his right forearm

The famous cricketer is a big fan of the comic book superhero Batman. The phrase "Deshi Basara" means “to rise up”. This was taken from the Batman film "The Dark Knight Rises," in the year 2012.

6.Number 284 inked in Roman numerals

This is KL Rahul's 284th cap tattoo we are talking about. This tattoo is on the right side of his torso. 284 is KL Rahul's Test cap number for India. He is the 284th cricketer playing for the Indian national cricket team. This is the reason why this tattoo is so precious to him. He has worked really hard to earn this spot in the Indian Cricket team.

7. His parents' names are inked on his wrists

KL Rahul has got his mother’s name tattooed on his left wrist (Rajeshwari) and his father's name on his right wrist (Lokesh). There is a lovely meaning behind getting these tattoos, KL Rahul said that when he got so many tattoos his parents started to get annoyed so he went and got his mother and father's names tattooed on both his wrists. 

Other Tattoos

When KL Rahul was just 17 years old, he got his first tattoo. It was a giant wing on his back. He even has the tattoo of his dog Simba on his back. He is too attached to his dog.

His most recent tattoo is on his left hand. It is number one. He got the number one tattoo as his jersey number is one in the Indian team. On his bicep, he even has the number XI tattoo. This was his jersey number when he had started playing for the country.

There is a rose tattoo on his left hand that signifies "new beginnings." He has a tattoo of arrows on his left hand. This one is to protect him from any kind of harm. Also, there is an owl tattoo on his left hand which symbolizes wisdom and knowledge.

All across his body, KL Rahul has tattoos for water, air and sun which are the three basic elements that have some importance to him.
