Chennai Super Kings IPL 2020The three-time Indian Premier League (IPL) winner Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will be participating in the 13th season of the IPL. CSK had become a finalist during the last year's IPL.CSK will begin the IPL 2020 against the defending champion Mumbai Indians (MI) in the tournament opener held on 29th March 2020 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Chennai Super Kings will be playing their home matches at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.CSK is also popularly known as the Daddy’s army for its high average age of key players. The team will be playing their matches only during the afternoon (starting from 4 pm) on 10th May 2020 against the Delhi Capitals (DC) at their home ground. This will be the last home-leg match of Super Kings. During the IPL 2020 auction, CSK had plugged a few gaps in their squad by bringing English all-rounder Sam Curran and Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood on the team.Chennai will be playing its last IPL 2020 match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2020 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium located in Bengaluru.The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is a franchise cricket team with its base in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The team was founded in the year 2008 and it plays its home matches at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The team has even served a suspension of two years from the league starting from the month of July 2015 for the alleged involvement of the team owners in the 2013 IPL betting case. Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the captain of the team and the team is coached by Stephen Fleming.The Chennai Super Kings logo features the head of a roaring lion in orange colour. The team is in colour blue and the crown made above the team is the same like the "Coromandel King". The lion is the king of the jungle, which is reflected in the team. Chennai Super Kings reflects the qualities like youth, vibrancy, solid performance orientation and fiery spirit.
