Finally, the wait is over and I now have the Indian Premier League for 2020. The tournament we have all been looking forward to has got off to a great start. After a thrilling duel between the Indians in Mumbai and Chennai Super Kings in the first match, the Delhi Capitals and the 11th Kings of Punjab made an explosion. The start of IPL definitely made the wait worthwhile, as the tournament had only just begun.Next in the tournament is the Chennai Super Kings who will face the Rajasthan Royals. While the Super Kings have already had a picnic, it will be the first game for the royals. The Chennai Super Kings looked rusty at the start of their first match but were back to their usual best condition before the match ended. The Rajasthan Royals have a good squad coming from England and considering these players have been playing for quite some time already, the royals may not need a warm-up. CSK and RR, the two great and fiercely competitive teams meet on September 22, 2020, at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah.TEAM PREVIEWSRAJASTHAN ROYALSRajasthan Royals is perhaps one of the least glamorous teams in the tournament, and it is definitely rich in talent. While they pride themselves on their patriotic talent, this time they have some great international T20 players available. They took center stage when disagreements surrounded the Indian Premier League and thus were banned from participating in the tournament for two years, 2016 and 2017. They haven't been able to do much since then as they failed to qualify for the qualifiers on neither side. Later seasons. But this time, Rajasthan Royals has a solid squad, at least on paper, and that's mainly because of their strong top-ranking. Jos Buttler, Steve Smith, David Miller, and Robin Uthappa are some of the game's best advocates. Ben Stokes' participation in the tournament is still under the clouds, but he is sure not to be a part of the squad in the first matches of the Rajasthan Royals. Jos Butler, who has been isolated from his family according to the protocol, will also come out of his upcoming Royals game. Given the way Butler has been, his absence is definitely a major setback for the royal family.Although it is not their greatest strength, the Rajasthan Royals is full of resourceful Indian players who have proven themselves on the national circuit. Shreyas Gopal is an experienced baseball player and is as good as any player in the competition. He's also impressed the past year and with potentially favorable conditions for the spinners, Gopal will have a vital role to play. With Stokes and Buttler not playing in Game 1, the onus is on Sanju Samson and Yashasv Jaiswal to get the Royals off to a good start on the ball. While Sanju Samson is well known for his skills, Yashasvi Jaiswal broke aside thanks to his excellent U19 cricket performance. Along with Ryan Parag, Jaiswal will undoubtedly be the one to watch out for.Rajasthan Royals had a distinct weakness in Bowling Death, but with Tom Curran the way it is, there may be no need to fix Death Bowling problems. Curran was brilliant against the Australians in the recently concluded T20I series and with Archer ready to play alongside him, the Royals had two players who are good at killing. Slow launches from the UAE have to match the likes of Unadkat and Tye, providing management with a good number of options to choose from. While the royals had a solid squad on paper before the tournament began, Jus Butler's absence definitely leaves their plans a little muddled. Since the deck will likely slow down as the game progresses, the importance of quickly scoring a new ball cannot be overstated. Given that, a lot will depend on the likes of Robin Uthappa and Jashasvi Jaiswal. While they are not short of talented Indian players, the royal family is definitely lacking in Indians who have good local experience behind them. Their group is made up of mainly young Indians, and this could be a weakness that CSK might look to exploit.Rajasthan Royals is one of those teams rich with stellar players, who can all defeat them again a day. However, the absence of Stokes and Butler definitely takes the balance out of the squad. Since there aren't many experienced Indians at their disposal, they are highly dependent on their foreign players, especially Archer and Smith. The conditions in Sharjah are sure to suit them and if their foreign players can serve as a good example then the Royal Family team will be a tough team to deal with.CHENNAI SUPER KINGSWith Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh withdrawing from IPL 2020, the Chennai Super Kings appeared to be in trouble. However, as he always does, not only did MS Dhoni manage to fill the holes in the opening match, but he also managed to lead his team to another victory. It wasn't easy and there were some apparent weaknesses, but a win will definitely instill a lot of confidence in the team. The Chennai Super Kings victory in the first match was a tale of two halves. They looked tense and unprepared for the first half of the first half, but they dressed up again with great spells from Sam Curran and Piyush Chawla. Ravindra Jadeja and Lungi Ngidi brilliantly rushed out to knock out five wickets between them in the event of death changing the tone of the match. Mid-stage, CSK dropped its momentum with them, but that momentum was short-lived as they lost Shane Watson and Murali Vijay early on in the chase.Pave de Plessis seemed irritable throughout his inning, but a superb shot from Ambati Raudeau failed to press Fave de Plessis as the duo added 115 points to finish third. With an impressive appearance from Jadeja and Curran, Faf du Plessis sealed the deal when CSK won the match with four extra balls and five wickets in hand. While the Super Kings had many positives to glean from the opening match, their biggest comfort was a superb Fave win in third place, an area that Suresh Raina has owned for a long time. Given that CSK sealed the deal without injuring MS Dhoni or Kedar Jadhav, it says a lot about depth in the hitting lineup. They hit it deep with Deepak Chahar available to reach 10th place and that could be a nice advantage in critical situations. With Fave de Place in third place, the struggle for third place appears to have disappeared. With that being said, management will be wary about the top spots as Murali Vijay and Shane Watson didn't get off to a good start. These are the early days of the tournament, and while we expect MS Dhoni to stick with Watson, Murali Vijay may not have a long rope. He was never comfortable against James Pattinson and gave in to one on the inside, falling for the lead. With RetragJaquad and N Jagadisan in the team, CSK will definitely start looking for these options soon. We can even see a change in the next match with Gaikwad or Jagadeesan instead of Vijay. Sam Curran's excellent performance puts Dhoni in a nice pickle to choose between Dwayne Bravo and Sam Curran when the Caribbean player gets into shape. The Chennai Super Kings have never been such a scary team. At least it was never as terrifying as the Mumbai Indians or the Royal Challengers in Bangalore. The secret to their success so far has been the captain of MS Dhoni and the team efforts of the Chennai Super Kings always. They are very good at adapting to conditions and that will be very helpful this year. They have done well against the strong side of Indians in Mumbai and they should keep doing well in the upcoming matches as well.Predicting TOSS RR VS CSKBoth sides have preferred to play first in both games so far, and those decisions made sense at last with the pictorial spray in both games. Although the deck will likely slow down as the game progresses, splashing might make hitting a lot easier in game 2. Also, this is the first game on this deck and both sides will want to look at it before hitting. So, hopefully, the captain who wins the field will pass first.Pitch and conditionsThe average first-half results in the UAE hover around the 155-round mark and the average first-half winning score is just under 170. Although in various places, the totals in the first two matches were around the race mark of 160 and made for exciting competitions. We expect the surface in Sharjah to be a lot more friendly to strikes and shooters will have to work harder, especially in fatal situations. The weather will likely be hot and players' fitness will be tested again. Needless to say, the chances of rain are slim. As was the case in the first two matches, splashing could be a factor, causing the ball to hit the bat a little better in the second half of the second half. Given this and the usual nature of the surface, the team hitting first must look for at least 170 passes on the board.Predicting RR vs CSK DREAM11Check out the Dream11 fantasy squad for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) match of 2020 which will be played between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings. By winning their previous game, the Super Kings will be cheerful. On the other hand, the Rajasthan Royals are not out on the field yet, and with Joss Butler and Ben Stokes absent, things have not started well for them. Also, Steve Smith hasn't played in a while due to concussion protocols and getting involved under the roof either. Since foreign unity was an important part of the royals' strategies, the absence of Butler and Stokes would be a factor. Given that and the fact that the Chennai Super Kings have already played and won a match, putting your points on winning the Super Kings should be the way to go on that next showdown. Our favorite bets:Top Hitter Team - Rajasthan Royals - Stephen Smith, 4 @ 1xBetWith Gus Butler and Ben Stokes absent, the onus is on Steve Smith to lead the team with the club. He is the most experienced player on the team and likely has a good number of installments available to play with. Steve Smith is an excellent spin and paced player, and it'd just be a matter of settling for big goals. There aren't many candidates other than him in the Royals field to score big points. This is an excellent bet with a good risk ratio.Highest Editorial Association - Rajasthan Royals, 1.85 @ BetwayIt looks like the opening duo of the Chennai Super Kings are undecided in their match against Mumbai and hopefully, it will happen again. Murali Vijay looked grumpy and Shane Watson had a slow start. Moreover, the duo will have Guofra Archer Bowling, who is in for a brilliant run in the England Series against Australia. On the one hand, the Royals' opening pair is likely new and better prepared to take on CSK's core basketball players.Total score (20 plus) - Ambati Roudou - 17.5 more, 1.83 in PetwayAmbati Rayudo looked great in the opening match and was named man of the match for his winning performance. Momentum and shape generally play a big role in this form of the game and Rayudu will be looking to get the most out of his look. With a superb shot from behind, he would slide with confidence and score more than 17 points which should be a walk in the park for him. When will the next wicket fall, Chennai Super Kings, Fall Of Wicket 1 - 20.5 Under, 1.83 @ 1xBetThis bet can be considered an extension of the second bet. The primary Chennai Super Kings duo is an Achilles heel and is unlikely to qualify in the next match. Rajasthan Royals has a decent new ball attack and picking up a small gate of irregular hitters shouldn't be a big challenge, especially given that these hitters don't have good match practice.Player Performance - MS Dhoni - Overall less than 33.5, 1.83 @ 1xBetNot likely to be a game in which huge totals are scored. Moreover, with the typical Ambati Rayudu and Faf du Plessis case, MS Dhoni is unlikely to be able to handle adequate deliveries. There is also the possibility that both Curran and Jadeja will be upgraded to lead him, mainly for a left-to-right combination in the middle. We saw MS Dhoni use these tactics in their first game, too. Given all these factors, the only real chance of earning MSD Points is behind logs and we don't think that earning many points is only possible through wicket maintenance. Sure, that sounds like a decent proposition for those looking to keep it safe. Read more: Dream11 IPL 2020- Location, Sponsers, Logo, Schedule, Squads, Prize Money
