Royal Ascot kicked off Tuesday with an excellent program of 36 races set by the organizers.
The five-day event is the largest racing festival held since the sport returned in early June, and as with all other sporting events in the UK currently scheduled for this summer, spectators will not be permitted to enter.
Races have been suspended for more than two months from mid-March to June 1, which means that this year's Grand National race should have been canceled.
The three-day festival at Aintree usually attracts 150,000 spectators, but this year fans have had to accept a virtual race.
However, things are expected to return to normal next year
When is the Grand National 2021?
Grand National 2021 will be held on its regular schedule for April.
Next year's festival dates are Thursday, April 8 to Saturday, April 10, and the main race is on Saturday.
Friday (April 9) will again be Ladies' Day, after the traditional Liverpool Day on Thursday.
Next year, the first day of NHS Day in Liverpool will be renamed "to honor the Northwest Health Service heroes" who have worked on the front lines during the coronavirus pandemic.
How to get tickets for the Grand National 2021
Tickets are not yet available for Grand National on Aintree.
The Jockey Club said those with tickets for this year's festival already have the possibility to take them to the 2021 event and secure their place.
Another 10,000 tickets will also be distributed to NHS staff and volunteers on Liverpool NHS Day, the first day of the festival.

Grand National 2021 runners
No competitors have been confirmed in the big race of Grand National 2021 next year.
Bookmakers expect the following horses to participate, although this is subject to change and confirmation.
