Pitch and conditions
We can be reasonably sure that it will not rain in Abu Dhabi in mid-September. The stadium at Sheikh Zayed Stadium will be flat, on the slower side, and without much bounce. A typical subcontinental cycle doesn't mind CSK at all.

Kieron Pollard, Krunal Pandya, and Hardik Pandya form the strong core of this team. Bullard was in great shape and looking better than ever. It will be one of MI's wild cards this season. This leaves the four shooters. Rahul Shahar did enough to secure the start, while JaspreetBumrah is an automatic pick. Trent Boult and Mitchell McLennan could be the other bowler's MI is looking for.
This is a very solid assortment with almost all bases covered. The depth at the spinning pins and hitting position # 4 are the only potential weaknesses we can see.
