The World Road Safety Championship will resume next month with the participation of six teams. Myths of India, South African myths, West Indies mythology, and Sri Lanka myths will continue from where they left last year. Australia Legends will be absent from this tournament, but England Legends and Bangladesh Legends will continue their absence.The 2021 Global Road Safety Series matches will be held at Shahid Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. The tournament will resume on March 5, 2021, and will end on March 21, 2021.Cricket legends from all over the world will compete in the World Road Safety Series 2021. Last year, the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, TM Dilshan, Zaheer Khan, Brett Lee, Brian Lara, Jonty Rhodes, and Yuvraj Singh participated in this competition.Legends of India won their matches against Legends of Sri Lanka and Legends of the West Indies. The organizers decided to resume the previous tournament rather than start over. India Legends will play England Legends, South Africa Legends, and Bangladesh Legends before the semi-finals start.The Legends of India will face Bangladesh Legends at the opening tournament. At the conclusion of the group matches, the first four teams will meet in the semi-finals on 17 and 18 March. The final will take place on Sunday. Bangladesh Cricket Board confirms six franchises for BPL

The board of directors of the Bangladesh Premier League, Bangabandhu, has completed six franchises for the eighth edition of the Bangladesh Premier League, BBA sources confirmed to Cricbuzz on Sunday (December 12).The Swiss Central Bank (BCB) had previously said it had received eight expressions of interest. Three new business houses are expected to participate in the tournament along with three previous branches. The new business houses are known to be Roopa & Marn Group (Dhaka Division), Progotty Group (Sylhet Division), and Mindtree (Khulna Division).The Fortune Group and Akhtar Group, which owned the Barisal and Chattogram division respectively in the previous version, acquired the rights to these two franchises. Meanwhile, two-time champion Comilla Victorians, owned by Lotus Group, will return to the BPL this season. He did not participate in the previous edition of the tournament.Incidentally, BCB has decided to offer the franchise a one-year contract only, as they are expected to sign a long-term contract after this season. As a result, big-name companies such as Dhaka Dynamites (Beximco), Rangpur Riders (Basundhara), and Khulna Titans (Gemcon Group) have decided not to participate in this season's tournament.Meanwhile, KM Rifatuzzaman, Managing Director of Chattogram Challengers, told reporters that three foreign players will be allowed to participate in Game XI, while four players were allowed in previous years. “Yes, you could say the board of directors confirmed our participation in the BPL. We came here to speak with BCB and they told us we would be representing our competitors from Chattogram.“In the previous version, four foreign players were scheduled to play, while in this version three players from each franchise will participate. The draft preparation is not finished yet and we will be more organized once it is done. You know that the draft for PSL players is happening today, and once it is completed We can get a clear picture of the availability of foreign players in the competition and let you know who we will confirm.”The BPL is expected to take place from January 20 to February 20. However, as it stands, he is struggling with the PSL, which is set to begin on January 27.
