FIFA on Thursday affirmed the dates for the FIFA Women's U17 World Cup to be held in India in 2022. The administering group of global football said the competition will be held from October 11 to 30.India had the facilitating rights for the 2020 FIFA U17 Women's World Cup however the competition was deferred because of Covid-19. The release which was planned to be held in 2021 was dropped and FIFA granted the facilitating rights to India in 2022.
