FIFA on Thursday affirmed the dates for the FIFA Women's U17 World Cup to be held in India in 2022. The release which was planned to be held in 2021 was dropped and FIFA granted the facilitating rights to India in 2022. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the ICC event calendar for the period 2024-2031. Both the 50-year-old World Cup and the T20 World Cup will be expanded to include more teams.
