Ind vs Eng: The All India Supreme Select Committee met on Wednesday to select the team for the last two test matches to be played in Ahmedabad against England.
India squad for 3rd and 4th Test: Virat Kohli (Captain), Rohit Sharma, Mayank Agarwal, Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane (Vice-captain), KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant (wicket-keeper), Wriddhiman Saha (wicket-keeper), R Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Md. Siraj.
Umesh Yadav will join the team in Ahmedabad and after assessing his fitness he will replace Chardul Thakur, who will be released in the Vijay Hazare Cup.
The committee also selected five reticle shooters and two reserve players.
Net Bowlers: Ankit Rajpoot, Avesh Khan, Sandeep Warrier, Krishnappa Gowtham, Saurabh Kumar
Standby players: KS Bharat, Rahul Chahar.
Abhimanyu Easwaran, Shahbaz Nadeem, and Priyank Panchal have been released for Vijay Hazare Trophy.
